The Baan Tower will become a new landmark in Rotterdam. The tower is developed in close partnership by RED Company, Being Development and Martens Construction and designed by architectural firm Powerhouse Company. With its compact dimensions and a height of 150 meters, Baan Tower will be the slimmest tower of Europe.
Baan Tower, located in a small street near the popular Witte de With street in the centre of Rotterdam, consists of approximately 145 rental and owner-occupied apartments, ranging from compact lofts for starters to spacious homes for families as well as luxury apartments. All floors are characterized by large windows with magnificent views of Rotterdam. The medium-sized and larger apartments have a spacious, secluded outdoor area overlooking the city. The tower is topped by several penthouse floors.
The 5-meter-high plinth of Baan Tower has a spacious entrance to the apartments as well as a bistro. The bistro brings not only life to the Baan quarter, but will also provide take-out for residents and neighbours. The open character of the plinth fit this well with the structure of the post war architecture in the area. The tower is characterized by a high quality of finishing. The façade is made of dark grey stone with anodized aluminium frames and travertine stone details in the plinth.
